Boom Baby!

I have to say, I think I’m finding my groove again! Despite hurdles of maintaining a very delicate work life balance at this current moment, I am finding a ton of enjoyment in curating menus again.

So, let’s talk about this movie. There’s so much love out there for Kronk and Yzma. They make up a hilarious villain duo that you almost find yourself rooting for at times. Especially these days, I feel like I can relate to Yzma being woken up with her face mask and cucumbers on her face. Of course, we have to recognize the main character growth out there for Kuzco. The only child part of me recognized that he probably also never had to share anything but was able to grow into a functional member of society with a little tough love.

I do think that one of my favorite Disney characters is the squirrel that makes tons of features through the many misadventures of Kuzco. I strive to bring that chaotic, cutesy, devilish energy to my own life.

This movie is one of those that I can watch over and over again! And I think there’s a lot that you could try to recreate in a meal. But I wanted to really dig into Peruvian cuisines and learn a few new tricks. This was one of my original movies that I posted over on my Instagram. I did tweak a few recipes for this post, but most are what we originally made since they were so good!!

So let’s get that killer sound track going and make some delicious food fit for an emperor!

Our Menu:
