I think of so many things when I think of Toy Story, but the biggest memory that sticks out is the hours I spent trying to pass the first level of the Toy Story video game on our Sega. I was not the best at video games then, still struggle with most of them tbh, but I learned a bit of tenacity from it. I eventually did beat that level of the game. Did I beat the whole game… I am pretty sure not, but that’s besides the point.
Toy Story was actually a really special movie to my mom. I was close in age to the main character Andy when the first movie came out, so when the third movie came out and Andy was grown and heading to college, it hit close to home for her as I was headed off on my own life adventures. It’s been really fun to see how we could play around with inspiration from this movie to make some yummy foods!
One thing about me and my family is, we will not pass up an opportunity to order a good pizza. And this instance was no exception. Of course we don’t have a Pizza Planet, but our options where I live are endless for some amazing local pizza joints. At times I do have the taste buds of a child still and prefer a nice pepperoni pizza so that’s what we got set up with for this meal’s entrée originally. I think there are still plenty of updates to be made here, so stay tuned for some new recipes as they pop up!
