As a kid, Dumbo never really had much appeal to me. It didn’t have a princess in it or even a main character that spoke. But that’s the funny thing about growing up. You see things through your new experiences and suddenly that movie that was just about an elephant with big ears means a little more. It’s about acceptance and the deep love of a mother. It’s about friendship and trusting yourself to make the miracles happen. There’s even a little trippy sequence in the middle where someone was on something animating it!
For all those reasons, Dumbo deserved all of tasty fun that can be embodied in its themed dishes.
