Hello to any and all finding this! Welcome to my little slice of joy!
I am Kurstyn and I am the master mind behind this little operation, but it isn’t without the help of the rest of my family and friends. And of course, the Wiggle Beans themselves, Opal and Oliver. A little over three years ago, I found myself the most stressed that I had ever been. Admittedly it was mostly from work and should have been a sign that I acknowledged at an earlier time that I desperately needed a career change. But I escaped into cooking for stress relief after work and I think that made such a difference to making it into my next act in a professional sense.
I quickly fell back in love with the magic of Disney and was inspired to create as many themed meals as I could. Before I knew it, I had taken 39 whole movies and turned them into mostly home cooked meals. I loved sharing with friends and family on Instagram but was always asked why I didn’t do more with my passion. Sharing is caring after all!
So finally, FINALLY, I got my act together and I’m starting. Somewhat fresh. You see, I don’t want to erase what I did in the past. I look back at my posts and see how I grew in my ability. I see dinners from before Oliver was even part of the family (and Opal was the only kitchen helper). Those dinners all are special in their own way and many of the pictures will be featured here. But I do want to revisit some; expand and improve with gained knowledge. I want to add some of the dishes that I held off on before because there was just too much food. Now, I plan on sharing each bit. Hopefully what works, what doesn’t and anything that could change. I really want to make this a place where anyone can find something to enjoy and find a little bit of magic. So stay tuned. Join our pack for updates!
